Children, Adolescents, and Teens
Helping Kids and Teens Feel Seen, Heard, and Supported

Why I Do This Work

I believe every child and teen is good inside, even when their feelings or behaviors feel overwhelming. Growing up brings big emotions, changes, and challenges, and kids often don’t have the words to explain what they’re feeling. My passion is creating a safe, supportive space where children and teens can feel understood, express themselves, and build the confidence and skills they need to thrive.

Who I Help

Children (Ages 4+): Support through play and creative approaches to help with big feelings, anxiety, transitions, or behavioral challenges.

Adolescents & Teens: A safe, non-judgmental space to explore emotions, identity, friendships, and life stressors while learning healthy coping skills.

Parents: Guidance on understanding what’s behind your child’s behavior and strengthening the parent-child relationship.

How I Can Support Your Child or Teen

  • Helping kids and teens process trauma and grief in healthy, supportive ways.

  • Reducing anxiety, stress, and emotional overwhelm.

  • Supporting children and teens with ADHD in recognizing strengths, building strategies, and navigating daily challenges with confidence.

  • Building self-confidence, resilience, and problem-solving skills.

  • Supporting transitions such as school changes, family adjustments, or friendship struggles.

  • Partnering with parents to strengthen family connection and communication.

Taking the First Step

When kids feel understood, they grow into confident, resilient adults. If you’re ready to support your child or teen’s emotional well-being, I’d love to help.

What Is Play Therapy?

Play is the natural language of children—and play therapy gives them the tools to express what they may not have the words for.

According to the Association for Play Therapy (APT), "play therapy is the systematic use of a theoretical model to establish an interpersonal process wherein trained play therapists use the therapeutic powers of play to help children prevent or resolve psychosocial difficulties and achieve optimal growth and development."

In other words, play therapy uses the healing power of play to help children process emotions, develop problem-solving skills, build healthy relationships, and make sense of their experiences—all in a way that feels safe and natural to them.

Through play, children can:

  • Express feelings like fear, anger, confusion, or sadness

  • Develop emotional regulation and coping skills

  • Increase self-confidence and resilience

  • Strengthen social and relational skills

  • Heal from trauma, grief, or stress

In my work with children, I integrate play-based techniques and child-centered practices that support emotional growth while honoring each child’s unique voice, pace, and needs.
